    Upward Flag Football Basics
    1. Games consist of four, nine-minute quarters with an eight-minute halftime period.

    2. Each team will have six players on the field at a time.

    3. Every player is an eligible receiver.

    4. Every player will play both offense and defense each game.

    5. A substitution system is designed to provide every player an equal amount of playing time.

    6. An evaluation process to provide equal opportunity for improvement.

    7. The non-contact structure focuses play on the fundamentals and teaches players the basic principles of the sport: proper defensive angles; running routes; catching; throwing; terminology; etc.

    8. Complete coach's curriculum includes: play calling strategy, skills and drills, practice outlines, devotions and much more.
